My Story
Hi! My name is Mia Johnson. I have been raised in the green hills of Oregon along with my seven siblings and two awesome parents, where I started my writing career at the age of thirteen. I was sixteen at the printing of my first book and I hope to impact my readers, encouraging them to be chivalrous, kindhearted, and loyal while following God with their whole hearts.
Archery
I’ve been doing archery for almost five years now and I switched to traditional archery four years ago. I enjoy shooting arrows in my back yard with my Turkish horse bow and having mini competitions with my friends.
Music
Music has been in my life for forever. I started piano when I was six and have been playing for twelve years now. A few new exploits include arranging some medleys of my favorite pieces. Singing comes in a close second as I try to use my voice to glorify God. I’ve also dabbled in playing flute, recorder, violin, ukulele, and guitar.
Theater
In the fall of 2023, my brother and I joined MCO Productions (Musical, Comedy, Opera). It’s a Christian theater group that do original musicals written by Mrs. Olson. I enjoy sitting at the piano backstage before a performance, and playing the songs for the play and just listening to everyone sing their hearts out! Below is a link to YouTube to our most recent show. I played a girl from the town of Salim and also the wife of Naphtali. My brother played the infamous son of Jacob named Levi.
