Hi! My name is Mia and I’m so happy that God directed you to this page. This is my first blog post, but I hope to continue writing posts to encourage writers (especially young writers).
As my bio says, I live in Oregon with my parents and siblings. My mom has homeschooled all eight of us from the beginning and her teaching has been invaluable in my life.
Let me just say this straight off the bat. I don’t like grammar. I know this might sounds extremely strange coming from an author, but I cannot properly diagram a sentence or anything like that. In fact, it was something that I struggled with in my elementary years. I remember distinctly complaining to my mom one day as she helped me with Language Arts. “Mom, why do I have to do this? It’s not like I’m gonna be an author some day!” Well…… I like to think God has a sense of humor. Contrary to what my ten-year-old self thought, God had a different plan for my life. Now, seven years later, I’ve published a novel and am currently trying to write blog posts. 🙂 Grammar is
